Ashtanga is a kind of vinyasa yoga, a dynamic class with movement linked to breath. Poses are derived from Hatha yoga and performed in a set series that only varies with the length of the class. This repetitive pattern enables the students to really dive into the feel of each pose (mentally and physically) and experience how much there is to discover with time and practice. And to work up a sweat – Ashtanga can be a full body workout if you choose to go for it!

To get the most out of the class some previous yoga experience is recommended, but our Ashtanga classes are open to all levels, and especially suitable for those looking for a dynamic class without advanced poses.
